Other Saxion research groups that we collaborate with.
Advanced Forensic Technology
The Advanced Forensic Technology research group focuses on improving detection with advanced and innovative technology. Investigation issues are central to the lectorate.
The Ambient Intelligence research group makes environments smart. The research group focuses primarily on applications related to safety, sports and smart industry.
The aim of this research group, headed by dr. Martin Bennink, is on initiating and performing high-level application-driven research in nanobio, the area where nanotechnology and life sciences meet. Topics of projects within the group are lab-on-a-chip technology, synthesis of nanomaterials for various applications, such as magnetic hyperthermia and antibacterial nanocoatings, biomimicry, assay development for blood screening and nanoscale chemical and structural characterization of nanocomposites.
The NanoPhysics research group, headed by dr.ir. Cas Damen, aims to bridge the gap between fundamental technology developed at research centres, such as the MESA+ institute at the University of Twente, and applications based on societal challenges. The focus is on implementation of chip-based technologies.
