Considering the placement of the semester within the curricula of the various programmes (third and/or fourth academic year), it is assumed that the participating students will have a thorough understanding of the basic knowledge of their programme and can demonstrate this within an interdisciplinary project. This basic knowledge is used to solve an issue from professional practice, together with the basic knowledge of the other team members. If we look at Miller’s pyramid, the assessment in particular occupies the upper part (Shows How and Does) of the pyramid. Knowledge (Knows and Knows How) is certainly necessary for this, but this is not explicitly assessed.
