Saxion University of Applied Science, the Netherlands & the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation and the Banking Academy of Vietnam organized the International Conference series on 'Blockchain and Financial Applications' with 43 paper presentations and about 200 participants. The conference series has taken place on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 and Thursday, May 13, 2021. The conference was divided into four sessions:
- Plenary session
- Blockchain Technology session
- Crypto Assets session
- Sustainable development in the context of digitalization session
An important aspect of the conference is a best paper award. Each university had the opportunity to submit papers for the award through Dr. I.V. Lukashenko, Dr. Pham Hoang Anh and Dr. Jan Veuger. This resulted in 14 submissions, which are included in the Book of Proceedings (2021). The Committee decided to grant the paper ‘The Effects of Blockchain Technology on University
Students’ Start-up Intention in Fintech. Implications for Developing High Quality Young Human Resources in Vietnam’ by Nguyen Thi Quynh Giang, Phan Thuy Duong and Tran Ngoc Anh of respectively Hoa Binh University Hanoi Vietnam, University of Transport Technology Hanoi Vietnam and Faculty of Finance and Banking Hanoi Open University Hanoi Vietnam as Best Paper Award Blockchain and Financial Applications 2021.
