PhD Project Imagining the future of women’s health: understanding of data in digital health technologies

Not knowing how to manage, interpret and make sense of data leads to problems of health inequality, especially for women. To better understand the problems that occur when interpreting health data, we should research how innovative digital health technologies mediate representations of data. This research takes a speculative design approach which allows for creating objects and interactions for women to reflect on how they want to interact with their intimate personal health data. As a result, knowledge on the future of representing and understanding data while interacting with digital health technologies will be developed.
