Wat is de toegevoegde waarde van 3D printen binnen de podotherapie en hoe kan je dit het best toepassen?
3D printing is now a mature production technique and is also increasingly used for medical applications. The podiatric world also follows these developments and wants to do more with them. The bottlenecks for the actual implementation of 3D printing in the everyday process are mainly in the cost price, speed of production, limitation of good materials and the inability to adjust the printed sole afterwards. In addition, the diversity of possibilities creates a diffuse picture for the podiatric companies. Together with PLT Products, Wender, Zuyd and Saxion Lectoraat Smart Health, we are investigating the possibilities for using 3D printing in the daily routine of the podiatric specialists.
