HTCKC is a twenty-week programme, divided in two series of ten weeks. In the first ten weeks the focus is on working on your professional attitude needed for creation, the theory behind marketing communication, creativity, storytelling and visualisation skills by training Photoshop, Illustrator and video. In the second part of the programme you’ll use all the knowledge and skills gained in the first ten weeks to create a marketing communication campaign including deliverables.

Course content
In this programme you'll start analysing international marketing communication campaigns such as Patagonia, Volvo and other media hits. First, it is important to understand completely the research and creative proces behind a successful campaign. Then, you are ready start creating by yourself. You’ll learn how to find and use your creativity to create through concept thinking your own concept. It’s your professional effort and craftsmanship to make sure your concept is suited for the correct target group. Lectures will help you to develop your skills and attitude in order to become an effective professional.
The exchange programme "How to create Killer Content?” provides guidance needed to create your own brilliant customer activation strategy. How can you create a concept for a company which will have a great impact to their target group? That means that you need to dive deep into their world. Both, company and target group. Combine this with your creativity, your look at society and you will have new angles for a concept. We start with developing your talent, ambition and creativity. Adding knowledge and skills is the next step: Concept thinking, 14 steps in marketing communications and storytelling. And then, at the end, when you do have a brilliant concept it’s time to build it! Workshops visualisation like Photoshop, Graphic design, Video recording and editing will be also part of this program. Because, when you finally do have a great concept idea it is always good to show your client what they can expect.
In the first part of this programme you are going to analyse a marketing campaign and work on your professional attitude needed for content creation and enhance your creativity. In the second part you will develop a marketing communication campaign for a company or organisation of your choice.
How to create killer content is a twenty-week programme, taught in two series of 10 weeks. In the first ten weeks the focus is on working on a professional attitude needed for content creation, the theory behind content marketing and training in visual and written content creation, as well as in creativity.
In the second part of the programme you’ll use all the knowledge and gained skills of the first ten weeks to work on your own project: delivering a marketing communication campaign, a validation report and pieces of content.

This exchange programme is meant for second- or higher year bachelor students with an interest in the field of creative media, concept development, storytelling and/or marketing communication. The programme is open for students from all courses and schools who want to challenge themself and improve their creativity. Therefore this is a broadening programme. Students from the bachelor 'Creative Business" can't join.
Creative businesses are keen on individuals with an international orientation, who are proficient in developing engaging content on a professional level. The programme How to Create Killer Content contributes to your ability to create and develop content, based on adequate research and marketing communication strategies. Students who successfully complete this programme know how to run a content marketing campaign from start till end, from strategy to design and production. Those skills can be used in every working field and not only in creative businesses.
