The Applied Nanotechnology Master's programme is unique in the Netherlands. The most distinguishing feature is its focus on the development of innovative micro- and nanotechnology-based products and applications. The fusion of elements from biology, chemistry, electrical engineering and physics result in nanotechnological materials and devices with unprecedented properties.The programme only starts in September and is taught entirely in English.

During your study programme

The duration of the master’s programme is two years. The programme provides you with a thorough basis in practical experience supported by appropriate theory. The programme provides a thorough preparation for a position in the nanotechnology-based industry. The Twente region is a hotspot for hightech businesses focusing on the ‘commercialization’ of nano- and microtechnology. Our institution is cooperating intensively with several of these.  Furthermore, we have a close interaction with the University of Twente.
