From Sustainable to Inner Development Goals

The project will be presented to the students from both institutions. All the Excellence Track Brain & Technology students who wish to participate will be included in the project. From the University of Évora, those that wish to participate in the international collaboration, and that speak English will be selected in equivalent number to Excellence Track students.

Activities that will take place in the 2th semester of 2022-2023 are:

  • Introduction to Well-Being and Reflective Writing,
  • Using Reflective Writing as tool to achieve well-being,
  • Well-being and online (AI) Apps,
  • Well-Being and related concepts in different Social Context,
  • Well-being in an Cross-cultural context,
  • Development of a Well-Being workshop and Pilot of a Well-Being workshop for international from Portugal and The Netherlands. 

  • To experience and develop intercultural cooperative skills on knowledge creation and application. 
  • To understand the importance of well-being as a requirement for study and work. 
  • To use reflective writing methods exercises to promote insights and awareness regarding the characteristics and enablers of well-being (enablers, barriers, allowers, determinants). 

  • To develop in an multicultural context a joint seminar or workshop on well-being based on reflective writing. 

  • To promote the internationalization of students and academics from Portugal and The Netherlands. 

  • To develop joint remote online activities (pre-mobility and post-mobility) concerning shared goals. 

  • To undertake cooperative meetings and activities in person concerning shared goals. 

  • To share knowledge regarding the online tools and their applicability in the promotion of well-being. 

Brain & Technology Excellence Track 2nd and 3rd year bachelor students and 1st year students from the Master’s in Psychology, University of Évora, Portugal will participate in this project. 

The following impact is expected: 

  1. Increasing knowledge over well-being and tool to accomplishe it;
  2. Improvement of cultural intelligence and strengthening global citizenship;
  3. Development of international cooperation and communication skills. 

Both the teachers and the students show high levels of interest in participating in the activities. The teachers have had preparatory meetings both in person and remotely.
