Wat kun je straks?

• You apply Human Factors methods to analyse human performance within a socio-technical system. 
• You describe human abilities and limitations and apply these in your own analysis of an accident and/or unsafe situation.  
• You explain the varying types of human errors and why these occur. You identify these errors in the analysis of an accident and/or unsafe situation. 
• You describe the principles of good design and recognise violations of these principles when analysing an accident and/or unsafe situation.  

Hierdoor toon je aan dat je de leeruitkomst behaald hebt: ‘The IVK-professional understands the principles of the Human Factors method and can use the method to identify Human Errors in complex situations.’. 

Inhoud

There are eight meetings in this module. You prepare the meetings by making assignments and studying literature and videos. During the meetings we discuss the assignments and discuss practical examples. You can ask in-depth questions and get specific feedback from your fellow students and from the teacher. 

Afronding

You individually complete the course by analysing the user-friendliness of a piece of technology, applying Human Factors theory and recommending design improvements. Na het met goed gevolg behalen van de toets ontvang je als student 5 EC en als cursist een hbo-certificaat. 

Praktische informatie

Lesdagen en locaties

De module wordt verzorgd door Saxion Parttime School. Als je de module volgt in Enschede, dan zijn de bijeenkomsten op de maandag. Als je de module volgt in Deventer, dan zijn de bijeenkomsten op dinsdag. Elke bijeenkomst is 90 minuten. De groep bestaat uit maximaal 28 deelnemers.

Kosten

Bij de genoemde kosten voor deze module zijn alle bijeenkomsten en twee toetskansen inbegrepen. Mocht je de module niet in één keer behalen, dan kun je in het opvolgende kwartiel deelnemen aan een herkansingsmogelijkheid voor de toets. De kosten voor aanschaf van literatuur zijn niet bij de module-prijs inbegrepen.

Toelating en aanmelden

Toelating

Deze module is op hbo-niveau. Een relevante praktijkomgeving op hbo-niveau is essentieel voor het afronden van de module. Die omgeving kan je eigen baan of (vrijwilligers)werk zijn. Mocht je niet werkzaam zijn in een voor deze module relevante omgeving, dan moet je afspraken maken met een bedrijf of instelling die kan dienen als jouw relevante praktijkomgeving. Nadere informatie hierover kun je opvragen bij Saxion Parttime School of je studiecoach.

Aanmelden

Om je aan te melden als cursist voor deze module, klik je op de aanmeldbutton.
