Frequently asked questions about International Human Resource Management

Don't worry too much about your English. You will write all your reports in English and will only speak in English in class, so you will develop your English skills very fast. Also, the report requirements get stricter throughout the years. In the first year we start with a course that helps your with English. If you are willing to invest in your level of English and you dare to practice you should not worry.

Economics is not a requirement for IHRM. It is useful, but not needed. The level of economics we offer is rather basic and does not require much previous knowledge.

International business is much more general and does not have a people focus as much as wel do. There is a lot more attention being paid to the psychological aspects of the business in our program. We also spend more attention to professional communication skills (one-on-one conversations) in our program.

Because our program is unique in Europe, which increases your changes of fining a job after you graduate. Because we have offer an international classroom which allows you to truly develop your cultural skills. And finally because we help you become an excellent communicator which will benefit you the rest of your career.

No. We have a fixed minor in the field of Human Resource Development. We chose this because this allows you to study HR for 3 full years before you go abroad for a full year. These three years make you more valuable to the working field and a highly skilled and trained HR-professional.
