What will you learn in this course?
The path to successful communication begins with language. Mastering Dutch will broaden your opportunities and enrich both your professional and social life. Our experienced and certified Dutch as a Second Language teachers will guide you through the essentials of the Dutch language and culture.
By the end of the A2 module, you will be able to understand sentences and commonly used expressions related to topics such as personal information, shopping, work, and education. You will be able to communicate in simple, everyday situations and write short texts such as thank-you notes, postcards, and invitations. You will also be able to describe aspects of your background and your surroundings.

Content
During the course, you will practice skills such as reading, writing, listening, and speaking. You will also learn a lot of new vocabulary and grammar rules. The course will help you practice using the language in various social situations, such as with friends, while on vacation, and at the gym.
Programma
Programme
If there are enough registrations, the course will start twice a year, in September and February. The course is held online and lasts for two consecutive periods (one semester). There are sixteen lessons, each lasting two hours.
Afronding
Completion
Halfway through the course, you will take a quiz to assess your progress. At the end of the course, you can take a standardized A2 test that includes reading, writing, speaking, and listening. You will receive a certificate upon achieving A2-level skills.

Practical information
The price of the course is 125 euro, which includes a textbook (unless you have already received one during the A1 Beginners Course). Erasmus+ students can attend the course for free.

In termijnen betalen?
In termijnen betalen kan alleen voor particulieren vanaf € 1.000, met € 24 administratiekosten als gevolg. Bij het ontvangen van de factuur kan je dit aangeven.

Admission and registration
After your application you will be informed in time about the start. In your Saxion mailbox, you will receive an invoice. This needs to be paid before the start of the course.
Please note, this course is meant for students who are currently enrolled at Saxion. If you're not enrolled (yet), please don't enlist.
