We are living in an increasingly globalised world with increasing international trade. With your extensive knowledge of languages, cultures and economics, you will play a pivotal role. You will be able to understand cultural barriers, speak multiple languages and have a thorough knowledge of business administration.

After finishing the International Business / T programme, you will be able to contribute to innovation and product development projects. Different types of professionals are needed to make global trading work. Day-to-day international trade activities will be the challenge when building international business relations and collaborate with an international team in different countries.  

After your International Business studies with specialization International Trade you can become employed as, for example:

International trade specialist

You oversee all import and export activities and procedures related to international trade processes. You ensure that product flow meets global, regional and country trade compliance regulations and that all documentation and processes are compliant.

International Accountmanager / Relationshipmanager / Exportmanager

You identify and execute new sales leads, nurture existing relationships and build new ones with potential clients, develop and maintain a sales business plan, provide market intelligence information to colleagues in e.g. business development, marketing or production.

International Projectmanager

You manage for example the process between sales and production and monitor the timeframe, scope, budget and risks. You translate the customer's wishes into the final product and processes and do this in close collaboration with amongst others the sales, purchasing, logistics and production departments.

International Marketing Manager

You create and implement the global marketing and branding strategy. This includes but is not limited to: campaigns, the website, social channels, sponsored content, articles, newsletters and anything else that helps the company to become known.
