This is what you do as Researcher Robotic Control & Manipulation
You will be modelling, implementing and validate new control solutions for dynamic systems.
Your systematic approach and coaching of juniors helps in building knowledge and strengthen the team in the field of robotic control & manipulation. Typical examples of applications are the use of drones for tasks that require physical interaction with the environment for inspection and maintenance or using robotic arms to grasp and manipulate (soft) objects in flexible and smart manufacturing or agricultural applications.

School of Life Science, Engineering and Design
As Researcher Robotic Control & Manipulation you will be a member of the Smart Mechatronics And RoboTics (SMART) Research Group. This team is part of the School of Life Science, Engineering and Design (LED). LED offers an inspiring and effective learning, work and research environment, focused on applied technologies and recent national and international developments.

Job requirements
We seek a professional who fits the job profile below. Does this sound like you? Then this job is ideal for you!
- At least Master of Science in a relevant technical discipline, like robotics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, applied physics, applied computer science or mechatronics.
- At least 2 year experience in research projects in the field of control & manipulation, especially applied in the field of robotics.
- Enthusiastic team player, who can coach junior engineers and students in the project, can strengthen the network with industry and is driven to contribute to team results.
- You work systematically to turn state-of-the-art knowledge into working applied solutions for industry and society and new knowledge for our team.
- Affinity with education and ability to motivate students.
